Life on the alien planet of Londria is difficult for humans, but Bobbi is determined to make the holiday season a special time for her fragile little brother, Tim. Desperate for funds, she’s even willing to take a job working for the coldest, meanest, most hard-hearted alien in the entire city.

Skruj is only interested in accumulating more wealth. He has absolutely no taste for social events—until they stand between him and a new source of income.
